Last night my friends and i went to Standard Station and were blatantly disrespected by the customers and the owner. My friends and I were dancing on the dance floor when a woman literally shoved us off. She said that she didn't know us and it was her birthday, so we needed to leave. As a side note, there were no signs stating that the dance floor was reserved for her party. We immediately talked to the owner and he told that she was not allowed to keep us off the dance floor. We went back a little while later when NO ONE was dancing, and she shoved us off again, and her friend became verbally and physically aggressive with my friend. We complained to the owner and he did nothing about it.



I will never return to this bar, and I recommend that you don't go either. I have never been treated in such a disrespectful manner by both the customers and staff. An owner that would allow the shoving woman's behavior obviously does not care about his regular customers and doesn't deserve their patronage.



To the shoving birthday girl....your behavior last night was deplorable and unflattering. I would think that in your 40 years of life you would have learned a little something about class. If you didn't want my friends on the dance floor (which was not reserved or marked as reserved) you could have politely said that it was your party and would appreciate us leaving the area. Instead you decided shoving and yelling at us was a better choice. By the way, having your birthday party at a bar instantly invites other people to join, and if your biggest concern is kicking people off the dance floor your party couldn't have been that much fun.
