Crappy Attitude! by
Called about getting a window AC unit repaired under warranty a month ago after being directed to Staats by the manufacturer. Even though the build-on date was well within the warranty period, I was told they couldn't help me because I didn't have the receipt. After a month of run-around from Lowe's, receipt in-hand, I called Staats again. This time I'm told they no longer service these units. And the woman on the phone sounds like she could give a rip less and that I'll have to 'call the manufacturer and ask if there's anyone else that can help me. Service is in the name, but certainly isn't something that I received to any degree.
Furnace & A/C by
They finished today as scheduled, again spotless. I don't know if the A/C works yet since it is 43 degrees outside, but I have confidence it will. I highly recommend this company, I am very impressed with everything they did. They were on time and there were no surprises. Thanks Staats for the outstanding job!

Recently spent $75 on these guys to be told the fridge was low on refrigerant. The guy they sent out doesn't work on the sealed system. They then wante another 400 to find the leak. After that the repairs would be an additional X amount. In addition they didn't honor the coupon from the phone book. Having dealt with Mike Staat over the years I am suprised he allows his name to be used by the current owners. In addition the lady on the phone was rude when my wife tried to discuss her concerns. To bad you can't give a "thumbs down" rating.
