WORST vet clinic I've ever encountered by EnigmaMan1975 - 07/07/2009I've had pets all my life and dealt with many different veterinarians, but this place completely blew me away. Their business practices are awful (not to mention illegal) and their customer service is even worse. I had to file a complaint with the BBB against them because they had turned me over for collection with TWO separate agencies. They've cost me over $300 in bank fees and refuse to reimburse me for any part of them. Now I have to incur the cost of an attorney, but it's worth every penny if it shuts their doors forever. They have an "F" rating on BBB and have had 27 complaints filed against them in the past 36 months. This place should not be in business!
DISHONEST BUSINESS!!! POOR QUALITY! RATED "F" WITH BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU by Mike - 06/08/2009ST. Francis has the worst rating that the BBB gives. We paid them to perform a procedure on our puppies and they said that they did it but we later found out that they did not. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and they would not let me. All I wanted was for them to finish the job that I paid them for and they told me to leave or they would call the police! I was not acting in a threatening manner or bothering any of their other customers. infact, my 10 week old puppy was barking a whole lot louder than I was. I just looked on the Better Business Bureau and I see that most of the vets in my area have very good ratings but ST. Francis has an "F" rating. they have had a lot of complaints against them.
Nice office by Deb - 03/18/2009Once I called and got someone a little snooty so I waited a year and had to take a cat into the emergency vet one night. They were great. The front desk, the assistant and the vet. She was wonderful. Am taking a new dog there for shots this week and expect the same.
death of my dog by buddy roo - 09/22/2008London Marie was an Italian Greyhound. She was born June 7th, 2005, she died September 8th, 2008. She was more than a dog, she was part of our family. On September 6th we took our 2 Italian Greyhounds, Buddy Roo and London Marie to St. Francis Animal Hospital in Vancouver Wa. When we got a message from Barbara Baker at St. Francis that one of our dogs had gotten loose and they were looking for her. My Mom continued to look for her the next morning, found her on the side of the road dead. We were told an employee broke protocall. They kept telling us they would take full responsiblity for loosing her and were very very sorry. We carried London out in a box. I have looked at St. Francis' web site and they have hurt alot of other people in the past several years. I wish we would have done more checking before we left our pets there. London Marie is now with our Lord and Savior, where she can play and run all she wants.
Loving and caring Clinic by Adri - 06/21/2008I have a cat with epilepsy and one with diabetes, I love living so close to this 24 hour clinic. The vets (all but one) are so friendly and caring, as are their techs. Even my snooty Siamese likes going to them. I'm sad that I'm actually having to look for another one since we're going to be moving to Milwaukie.
Absolutely Horrible! by Carrie360 - 04/21/2008I will NEVER take my dog here again. The service was horrible. My dog was terribly ill and I had to take her in on a Sunday at 4am. They found nothing wrong with her. I called repeatedly to see what the next steps should be, only to be told my dogs records were locked in the vets office and he wouldnt be back until Thursday. Apparently no one else could help me. Now they will not fax my records to my normal vet without written consent from the vet there, which will take 2-3 days. I demanded my records be available to me because my dog is sick and I need to help her. Without compassion or understanding she again told me all she can do is put the request in and the vet would get to it when he can. DO NOT take your pets here unless you want to be treated with complete disrespect.
Best Care My Kids (Dog & Cat) have ever received! by Patti - 10/03/2007Moved to Vancouver about three years ago and have been taking my kids Muffy (Shi Tzu) and Nikko (Himalayn) to St. Francis ever since. They have both received great care - and what's really nice is that no matter what time of day or night - I know I can rely on them - that a Veterinarian will be there to take care of my pets. I've been there as early as 6am and as late as 11:59pm picking up Muffy after boarding her there - the 24 Hour service they offer is GREAT!!! Thank you!!!
Great Place by LadyRavenJac - 09/19/2007I recently had to put down one of my pets and they were the most conpassionate, helpful group of people I have ever delt with. The Vet did all that he could do and I was very impressed with him. The staff there was Great. Will be taking all my pets there.
