Welcome to the St. Vrain Valley School District, where our mission is the successful education of more than 24,000 of Colorado’s students in a safe learning environment. Our focus on student success is illustrated through positive academic trends.

• Overall CSAP scores have increased on 89% of tests given over the last four years,
• 96% of District targets have been met in student achievement,
• The graduation rate for high school students is 86.6%, and
• 28% of all juniors & seniors took at least one advanced placement (AP) course.

We are the tenth largest school district in the state; St. Vrain Valley operates 48 schools that are spread over 411 square miles. Our district is comprised of: 25 Elementary, nine Middle, one Middle/Senior, seven High, two Alternative, and four Charter schools.

We are located approximately 30 miles north of Denver. Geographically, the District is quite diverse. Its boundaries extend from the Continental Divide into the plains of Colorado. Adding to its picturesque setting are historic downtown Longmont and the backdrop of Rocky Mountain National Park and Longs Peak.

There are 13 different communities that makeup St. Vrain Valley School District: eastern Boulder, Broomfield, Dacono, Erie, Firestone, Frederick, Hygiene, Longmont, Lyons, Mead, Niwot, Peaceful Valley, and Raymond. Parts of Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer, and Weld Counties fall within its boundaries.
