This place is awesome

This place rocks! The salesman Gary was very helpful and waited around all day for me to get my financing figured out. Scott the owner is very down to earth and after I waited all day to hear from the bank just to get told I had to wait till 9AM the next day he let me go out on a cruise in my new Slingshot. If you want to buy somewhere you will feel at home and get beyond helpful customer service then this place is where you should go! Thanks again Gary and Scott!

Service and sales were great

Went here with the intent of just looking. I was in the market to buy an ATV, but was just doing my homework. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted (nice change from some places). I told them I was just looking so they said to look all I wanted and ask if I had questions. After a while I did have a question, which was answered right away. I ended up filling out an application, and bought my ATV that day. Was very impressed with the whole experience. I had to have a winch and plow installed, and the service guys got it put on that day. 5 stars.

Horrible shop

Do not go here! long story short, I went here and bought an oil filter for my dual sport. I have purchased one here before without issue but last time i went in i handed the person at the parts counter my old filter AND told them what it belonged to. he handed me a new one and i purchased it, went home and changed my oil and put the new filter on which fit great and looked identical to the old one. well, i needed a filter for a yamaha XT, which has 4 little holes in the back of the filter allowing oil to get to the top end. they sold me a yamaha WR oil filter without these holes. i was unaware of this being an issue at the time due to the near perfect appearance. about 20 miles later my top end seized. still having no idea why it seized, i took it to my mechanic. found out the issue and paid $600 to get the top end fixed. i discussed it with the shop who fixed it along with 2 other shops and all of them said that if they sold somebody the wrong part, they would reimburse a customer the money, especially if it caused the top end to seize and i had proof. After getting my bike back i took the old filter and receipt back to powersports and confronted a manager. i told them i wasnt there to cause a scene and wanted to discuss the issue but the manager got hostile right off the bat. he took me to the owner who looked up my transactions and continued to argue that i did not buy that filter from them and they didnt even stock that filter. with the whole staff watching we continued to argue and he said in the 17 years theyve been open they have never once done one thing wrong. as i was walkin out to the car, he chased me down and said "i was wrong" showing me the exact same filter they had sold me. he never apologized, said mistakes happen and said there was nothing he can do. after i told him i at least wanted an apology and to make sure it doesnt happen to somebody else, he said sorry but its not my fault. so if you care about getting correct parts and not going through this... do not waste your time going here.

Poor Service

I took my bike into Spokane Powersports for a fork service (new seals, oil and safety check) and less than one week later my forks were leaking oil. I brought it back and they told me they were leaking because they used aftermarket seals rather the OEM. So they agreed to fix it, if I paid for the service and seals with the understanding that if there were any issues from there on they would stand behind their work. After storing my bike for the winter and a few short rides my forks started leaking again so I bring it back to them. I went back and forth with the service manager and he told me that it’s probably because I was doing wheelies (I do not stunt, nor do I do wheelies) and I am basically SOL. After going back and forth with the service manager he said he would have his tech take a look and find out what the problem was. So after doing a thorough review of my forks they found a scuff and determined that was the cause of the problem the entire time (three visits to Spokane Powersports and hundreds of dollars later) it would have been nice to find that problem during their first service. Their attention to detail is less then par, you put a lot of trust into the service provider in hopes they did the job right the first time so you don’t have something fail when you are going down the road on two wheels. My best advice would be to find another place to get your bike serviced, they don’t care about you or your safety, just your money.
