Spokane County United Way is a locally independent, volunteer driven, non-profit organization, bringing people and resources together to build healthier communities in and around Spokane.

Spokane County United Way’s bold goals focus on education, income and health. United Way's bold goals are built on a foundation of community priorities, all interconnected, that are the basic building blocks for a better life.

To reach our bold goals, we must focus our actions and our investments to achieve these desired results for our community.

Education:
-Children are nurtured and safe
-Children are ready for school
-Children and youth succeed in school

Income:
-People have the means to meet basic needs
-People have opportunities to gain employment
-People have opportunity to gain and sustain assets

Health:
-People make healthy choices
-Vulnerable populations are included, not isolated
-Vulnerable populations can access health care
