We handle all the employment details such as Federal and State Unemployment Taxes, Social Security and Medicare, as well as Workers' Compensation Insurance thus leaving you free to grow your business.
We would like to introduce our business to you and welcome you to try our services. We are locally owned and we know the needs of the area. For more than twenty years we have been business owners ourselves and we know what is required and what should be expected from a good employee. We will strive to supply you with quality employees for your temporary and permanent employee needs. You will find that we are professional, courteous and friendly.
There are numerous benefits to using our services. We save you time and money by doing the advertising, screening and interviewing of prospective job applicants, in order to provide you with a select group of candidates who meet your requirements. If you use a test specific to your job or industry, we will be happy to administer it to qualified applicants.
The candidate you select remains an employee of Specialty Personnel Services, Inc., so your costs to maintain additional staff are reduced. You do not need a Human Resources or Personnel Department as we handle all personnel issues. We also cover the employer's share of Social Security and Medicare Taxes, Federal and State Employment Taxes, as well as Unemployment Insurance. We charge an hourly rate based on your company's workers compensation classification and you have no other work to do.
This is also a very cost-effective way to preview an employee's work ethic, dependability, capabilities and performance on the job prior to adding them to your permanent payroll. As you do not commit to any minimum number of hours, you can hire workers through us for your busy season and let them go when the season ends without having to put them on your benefit plans. If you are not satisfied with an employee, all you have to do is call us and we will dismiss them from your team and find a suitable replacement.
After 90 days our employees may be rolled on to your payroll at any time. Prior to 90 days there is a rollover fee. You may also send people who directly apply to you through our service in order to check their capabilities and performance on the job or if you wish to hire them temporarily. We will charge the same rate and take care of the work comp and taxes. If you later wish to hire this person permanently, there is no charge for placement regardless of the number of days worked.
It is important to note that you are in control of the employee's hours, days of work, etc. We do not impose any minimum number of hours or days per week.
