Ruined my nails

I bought a groupon type discount for a mani-pedi. Ii had a nice pedicure and then was offered to upgrade my manicure to a shellac type. I actually loved it but when I went back in a few weeks to have it redone, a different.woman did my nails She didn't seem to know anything about how to remove the old shellac and scraped the top layer of my nails off. My nails were literally paper thin ( you could see through them) and it took months for them to grow back properly

I made the unfortunate mistake of buying a Groupon for this shop. The staff provided the worst customer experience I have ever had. From the staff who greeted me at 9:00am and informed me that I wasn't her client so i should sit and wait, to the staff who did my mani and pedi while making personal phone calls to chat about curling irons and Christmas baking. I was completely dissatified. I don't know who was in charge, but I will never return. The lady who did my nails was actually so busy talking to other people she only cleaned and trimmed one hand, not both.They spent a lot of time bad mouthing "Fancy Fingers" and the other "Asian" nail places, but I tell you I will choose any of those places over Southwest Nails everytime. They have a very small, cute salon, but its like putting lipstick on a pig when it comes to the customer experience.

I have been going to the shop owner, Trina, for 20 years. She is always professional and very thoughtful and considerate. Through the years, she has become a good friend! Her shop, Southwest Nails, is her dream come true. She keeps her shop immaculate and is very careful when hiring technicians to work in her shop. I would not hesitate to recommend Southwest Nails. In fact, I have sent new people to her shop and they are also vrey pleased with the services they offer. I go every two weeks for my nails and have received many compliments over the years. Pedicures are heavenly. I refuse to go anywhere else.
Meant well - but schedule was off and talked too much.

I set appointment for my friend and I for a mani/pedi. Schedule was messed up and no one called to let us know that there was only one technician. We arrived and she announced it was just her but she would do both. It took 4.5 hours! And on top it, near the end she did another client and went back and forth between us three! Technician was sweet, but why didn't the salon call us to tell us of the scheduling mix up! Also, be aware - they only take cash or check! They didn't tell us that up front either!

I have been looking for a nail shop like this for a long time. I've been going to the "cheap" nail salons and always leave bleeding and disappointed. I found Southwest Nails and I will never go anywhere else again. It is very laid back but at the same time all the girls there are upbeat and so friendly! It's a home away from home and my nails have never looked better!

I was in southwestnails last week as a walk in,they were so welcoming.I had agreat manicure soak scrub and message great place!Cant wait till I go back for my pedicure.
