I'm specifically reviewing the meat counter at Alan's Market, and particularly Candy, the man who runs the department. Candido, or "Candy" as we steak-lovers know him, always has the freshest cuts, and great advice for just how to cook any piece you choose. If you want a tender filet or a honking, delicious ribeye, and advice on how to prepare it just right, see Candy! Oh, the homemade beef jerky in the big container on the counter is killer too!
