General Information

Smith Mechanical is a team of considerate professionals that work together with owners, contractors and architects to design and install the right HVACR system for your commercial, industrial and residential projects. We design and install from your typical hydronic, forced air and ventilation systems to advanced systems such as variable refrigerate volume, reverse cycle chillers, high pressure and geothermal heating and cooling systems. Smith Mechanical also installs and services all types of kitchen equipment, exhaust systems, make up air systems, refrigeration systems, air lines and gas piping. Smith Mechanical is one of the few local companies that designs, installs and services large refrigeration systems for grocery stores and other clients with like needs. This includes compressor rack systems, air or water cooled condensers, walk-in freezers and coolers, ice machines and all sorts of cooler and freezer cases. We also provide complete services for all types of control systems for all our above HVACR systems. This ranges from simple thermostat controls to full building management controls that will automatically contact us for service if a problem arises.
Some of our typical projects are office buildings, retail stores, restaurants, medical facilities, schools, churches, manufacturing facilities, residential homes and refineries.

Smith Mechanical is located in Ferndale, WA. We have over 8,000 sq. ft. of office and shop space for our operation. We currently have 19 valued full time employees.

In addition to meeting or exceeding applicable building codes, Smith Mechanical HVACR systems are designed and installed to meet or exceed standards set by SMACNA (Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning Contractors National Assoc.), ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers), ACCA ( Air Conditioning Assoc.), Washington State Energy Code, and Washington State Ventilation & Indoor Air Quality Code, along with other recognized industry standards.
