Don't go there! We booked this hotel because it was cheap and close to the airport. We were told we had to be there by 8:00pm. When we arrived at 7:30 we found out they had given our rooms away. The lady said she tried to call but we didn't answer so she decided we weren't staying. We gave her our cell phone number with voice mail so I think that was a lie.This was the weekend of the Daytona 500 and no reasonable priced rooms available in the area. Not a happy ending to our vacation.

I have stayed at the Slumberland Motel on several occasions for a few days at a time...and did not find any fault with the managers help and assistance at any time. The cleaning staff were all equally friendly and courtious. So all visitors to Sanford can expect a great and friendly atmosphere at the Slumberland. The group which represented their church and were looking for a free-handout should understand that the motel business is a very demanding business and their profit margins are not the highest...but I always got the highest service from them. I recommend the Slumberland!

We are a church calling for donations of blankets to help keep the homeless warm this holiday season. The manager was very rude and hung up on me. Not the kind of hospitality I would look for in a Hotel. No heart for the homeless. I have never stayed in this hotel and never will. Rude Rude Rude!!!
