As I was the need was coming near for my wife I decided to go with the preplanning that the Shrine of Remembrance was offering. It took a load off my mind. My wife was stage 4 CODP for over 2 years. Demetri Rombocos took care of me as I set up the arrangements for what we wanted to do. He setup an easy payment pan.
When the day came that my wife Dawn did pass after hospice did their paperwork I was given a chance to call family to see if any want came see her. I called the Shrine of Remembrance and within the hour Dino Rombocos and an assistant to carry my wife out of our home. At all times the staff showed respect to me and my wife.
On meeting Sunday to make the finial arrangements with Demetri he already had the approval for date and time for burial in Pikes Peak National Cemetery. While Demetri showed the extras like flowers and the folders they had to offer at no time did he try to up sale but let us discuss among ourselves on if any we wish to add.
Service went off great even under COVID 19 rules at the time. I have used them with other family members. My arrangements are with them as well.
Overall I believe that the Shrine of Remembrance truly cared that this most painful time should be treated with care and respect.

The Shrine of rememberance and its staff, Alan in particuliar, were exceptional. My mother had passed quickly and they handled all everything so professionally . The care, compassion and sincerity was absolutely wonderful during this difficult time.

The service was very organized down to the last detail.

Most importantly, they took a very sad time and made it feel as if it were a celebration and tribute, as it should be. The music, the way my mother looked was absolutely heavenly. I highly recommend the Shrine of Rememberance, as they are such a wonderful group of people and provide such excellent help from their hearts.

It was simply beautiful and I feel blessed having selected the Shrine of Rememberance for my mothers service.
