NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have always tried to shop local, family owned businesses.I was looking for a new range yesterday, so my first stop was at Shouse. What a mistake. I walked in, and everyone in the store stopped and looked, but not one word said like Hello or I'll be with you shortly, NOTHING!!! So, I walked around looking for a new range, still no acknowledgement!!! So I left and took my money with me. You lost out on a $2,000+ sale. I worked retail for 30+ years and your business and employees have a lot to learn. I will be spreading the word.
Great personal service

We have gone to Shouse Appliance in the past for our dish washer and refrigerator. This time we needed a new washer and dryer. They did not try to sell us the most expensive set, but explained that Speed Queen built the longest lasting set and was the least expensive. We decided on a Maytag set with a few more features, but still not the most expensive. Delivery was offered for the same afternoon, but we needed to wait until 9:30 a.m. the next day due to our schedule. The delivery men removed our old set, installed the new machines and explained some of the features for us to be aware of. We will return when next needed.

We are very happy with the knowledgable sales people and the friendliness at Shouse. We will recommend others to shop at your store. There was no hurrying to buy, or pressure from your crew.
Poor customer service

If you want good customer service to result in customer satisfaction, do not go to Shouse. We had a concern/problem with oven we purchased. We wanted to problem-solve, or return it and even purchase a double oven, and all we got were reasons they would not accept a return, how we were wrong and no indication of "hearing the customer out.". I'd hate to think how their other responses are for other unsatisfied people. Not geared toward Customer Satisfaction at all.
