My son LOVES school at Shining Stars Daycare! The teachers and staff are so great with the kids and make them feel so special! I am a teacher myself and was looking for a place where my son would learn academically and socially. The center is bright, clean and has a positive atmosphere.

I appreciate that they communicate with the parents daily and even send pictures of your son/daughter involved in daily activities. In my opinion, the tuition is more than fair and well worth the money. I feel so comfortable trusting my son in their care. Mrs. Jola, Mrs. Shelly and all the teachers are amazing and make my son feel important and make my husband and myself feel grateful for their dedication as teachers.

I am not sure who the "Sweety pie" is that gave Shining Stars a 1 star review, but I would strongly suggest he/she consider reevaluating their priorities. First of all, a child care facility should not be judged by the COST of their care but on the quality of care provided. Also the allegations of Shining Stars being expensive and in any way greedy could not be further from the truth. My wife and I shopped around for childcare when we first enrolled them almost two and a half years ago and found them to be the most reasonably priced. As a parent I can not put a price on knowing my children are safe when they are away from me, I have complete confidence that Shining Stars is caring for my children as if they are their own.



Once we stared bringing our children here we were hooked! We have brought our kids to other childcare centers when we lived in Texas and in northern Wisconsin, neither of those centers were even close to our experience at Shining Stars. The teachers genuinely care about every child there and make them all feel so welcome that they look forward to going there everyday! The facility is always clean and the staff makes sure to keep the children as germ free as they can by having them wash their hands and cover their coughs and sneezes. We started bringing my son there at an early age and the teachers there have literally raised him alongside us. Our daughter has become such a great little person with the education and life skill development the staff there provides.



To further emphasize our satisfaction in this facility I must mention that my wife works in Lake Zurich and I work in Long Grove, we both commute almost an hour each way with traffic. Since we are currently home renters, we recently had the opportunity to look for a new house to rent and decided to stay in the Lake in the Hills/Algonquin area instead of moving closer to work. Our honest to god motivation to stay around here was the amazing experience Shining Stars provides our family. We both made the decision to keep commuting every day so we can continue the experience of a child care facility like this because we know there is no other place like Shining Stars. Anyone considering them for their childcare needs will not be disappointed in the experience provided by their warm hearted compassionate staff.

I can strongly recommend that place to any busy parent. Great hours, all day long surveillance, safe entry with key fobs, daily activity reports and great communication with school staff. Both I and my husband work full time. Every day I drop of my doughter with smile on her face and excitement that she will spent there her whole day!! The amount of activities and organization during the day is perfect!! Kids have great routine followed with amazing educational program. My 3 year old loves this place! Every day she brings beautiful crafts, tells me about new activities everything captured on photos sent to me by her teacher!! Maya is happy every day coming in and out, she amazes us how much she learn in her group and how well behaved she became since she started last year. But aside from all education that she gets I know she is safe and surrounded by loving and caring teachers. I didn't hesitate any minute to sent my oldest to summer camp and "no school" program and he also loved it!! There is no words that can express my gratitude for all shining stars team Members. If u Think is overrated trust me is not!! There is no price for my children happiness while I am not there with them!!

I see after several bad reviews in yahoo she must have shut down reviews for them. This place is over rated. Definitely some profiling going on with this lady. Especially for families with multiple children. Why go to a half rated school and pay 75 per child NO FAMILY DISCOUNT on enrollment alone? Plus an outrageous Co payment for families using action for children. She could have made close to 900 a week off my family, but was so money hungry for enrollment fees, I went to kindercare and got a much better deal. 35 down for the first child and 10 for any child after that. Plus they gave me a multi child discount and I'm still not paying half the price of THAT place, for an accredited institution. Someone should seriously tell her "greed is not an functional trait"

Great educational standards. Our children have learned so much...Great staff! Very, very, clean center....Just the best out there that I've seen!

My kids have attended Shining Stars Early Learning Center for the past 3 years. We couldn't have asked for a better center for our children. They have learned so much. The center is very clean and the staff are exceptional! Definitely recommend this place.....it's not like any other center I've looked at!!!
