Bad stay by dyrhad - 08/16/2009
August 16,2009 dyrhad This is absolutely the worst campground we have ever stayed at. The people working there treat you like a unwanted guest and manager Doug couldn`t be any more rude. The bathrooms are dirty, campsites are usually wet and there is horrible smell of sewage coming up from the ground in site #14. We brought this to their attention and they told us we had 2 options, move or deal with it. Since we had 3 families camping with us that really wasnt an option at 8 pm on Saturday evening. We were told if we move they would not offer a discount (we were not expecting a free night) for our trouble. When I suggested Doug maybe be taking the wrong approach with customer service I was told I should leave. If you are looking for a campground in the area, spend the extra time going to another campground in the area. Bluff Valley is a beautiful camperground only 15 minutes south of Shades Of Sherwood.
