Absolutely do not take your wedding gown to be altered here. I had a dress needing some extensive restructuring and went in for a consultation where the wedding dress seamstress endlessly mocked other customers of hers-holding up a red satin dress someone else had brought in saying "can you believe how ugly this slutty girl is going to look wearing this to a wedding". Absolutely do not expect to be treated with respect. Having dropped off the dress expressing that budget wise and for my sanity the dress needed to be done and complete in 3 months. There were major construction changes to be made and if it didn't turn out the way I wanted, I needed the time to find a new dress. I left my gown with the crass seamstress to not hear a thing from her for a month. I called to inquire on the status and she replied "it's prom dress season so I'll get to it in a month." Another month goes by so I call to inquire further. "I told you the last time you called you have to wait until I get through all these prom dresses." You will not be treated well. You will not feel like your dress is in good hands. And you will feel how low budget and trashy this place is just as soon as you walk in the door. Needless to say I picked up my dress and took it to a tailor more suited to handle high end alterations.
