The studio has grown over time into a thriving, dedicated community of teachers and practitioners who are devoted to offering the highest quality yoga teaching possible.

Our teachers are all highly trained in the Anusara yoga method, a method whose certification and teaching requirements are among the highest in the nation. We believe strongly in the value of digging one deep well into a tradition, rather than digging many shallow wells of eclectic variety, and are proud to offer the Seattle community the treasure of Anusara yoga.

John Friend, the founder of Anusara yoga, says, “A great yoga teacher must combine sensitivity, creativity and inspiration with technical knowledge and experience to facilitate an inner unfolding in each student.” We strive to meet this high calling.

Our student body is a rainbow of human beauty: senior citizens practice beside tattooed blue-haired couples, and 15-year-olds come with their parents. The accessibility and intelligence of Anusara yoga makes the practice available and beneficial to all.

We offer a style and level of class for everyone, from dynamic sweaty flowing practices, to gentle subtle work with the inner body.
