Scoggins & Scoggins Violin Shop is the best!! by kookabura - 09/28/2007
Scoggins & Scoggins always give us great service. We have bought instruments there. They let us try out an instrument at home free for a week or so, and if we like it, we can buy it. We have a beautiful cello and violin that our children adore playing. Their built instruments have such a fine tone and quality. The rebuilt instruments are way beyond the competition. They are involved in the community, helping out with Utah Youth Symphony and other musical organizations. Scoggins involves music teachers with concerts, with trying out various instruments, in having their students come to the shop and try out instruments. We appreciate their helpfulness to us in all aspects of our musical lives. Great job Scoggins. Like I said, the best!!

I have purchased two instruments from Scoggins & Scoggins, and I'm looking for another. I have found their instruments to be priced considerably below their local competitors. I have been allowed to test their instruments in concert settings and have been very impressed with the beauty and color of the tones produced. When their instruments are compared side-by-side with other +makers+ instruments, I have found that they are equal in craftsmanship, but usually superior tone and less expensive. The shop is friendly and very accommodating to your needs.
