Scenic Falls Federal Credit Union is a member-owned not-for-profit financial institution. The credit union was established over 50 years ago by a group of Idaho Falls firemen. In 2000, our charter was expanded to serve anyone who lives, works, attends school, or attends church in Bonneville County and their immediate family members.

The Board of Directors consists of unpaid, member-volunteers elected by the general membership. Because we are a not-for-profit organization, profits are returned to our members in the form of financial services, dividends, higher deposit rates, better loan rates, and lower fees. The money we lend and invest stays here in the community, helping local people, rather than generating profits for outside stockholders like many banks.

Since we are owned by members, personal service is central to our philosophy. Our staff genuinely go out of their way to accommodate people and help take the edge off banking. That's why so many of our members won't go anywhere else.
