Description: Scenic Falls Federal Credit Union is a member-owned not-for-profit financial institution in Idaho Falls, ID. The credit union was established over 50 years ago by a group of Idaho Falls firemen. In 2000, our charter was expanded to serve anyone who lives, works, attends school or attends church in Bonneville County and their immediate family members.

    Sent three e-mails and to date have not received a reply. We have been long tome members but it looks like this fine institution has taken a Hugh step backward in customer service. If you talk the talk you had better be able to walk the walk if you our participation and money.Very disappointed Mike Oar

    Why The Closing 2

    Well calling sure didn't seem to satisfy anything. It still seems that the closing isn't what people who bank with you want done. Its nice to be able to go in and have a decent conversation with the staff you have there, but if its just going to be the drive through open they are going to be so rushed in trying to help everyone they really wont have time to talk like they do with when you walk in. I'd love to see the management try and work when they are busy with just the drive open. Good luck employees at your second branch. I pitty you

    For the most part this bank is pretty good. The people they have working at both of their branches is pretty good. They show great customer care and they are generally fast in their transaction. I do have a concern with them closing the inside of their second branch but other than that its pretty good.

    I have been with this bank since my childhood and I love it. The people are very friendly and care about everyone. I love the fact that they are open on saturdays it makes it convient when I work late and have a day off on the weekend. Thank you!

    All the employees are friendly, always helpful at getting money to me and my funding situated. All in all I think that the bank does a great job at helping people out with anything financial.

    The people in the drive are amazing! They are extrememly quick and helpful along with accurate. I don't know how some people can function that early in the morning they are great!

    Why The Closing?

    I am very concerned about why they would be closing the inside of the branch on Sunnyside. Are they going under or what? I'm just glad I'm no longer with them if thats the case

A slowdown in the economy, and drop in business at the branch have led to this decision by our member-run Board of Directors. This was a difficult decision to make. Most Americans have been forced to make some changes and tighten their belts. This decision comes as part of our plan to trim budgets as we continually asses the performance of each branch on many levels. You can rest assured that the Credit Union remains strong and financially sound. Your accounts continue to be insured to $250,000 by NCUA an agency of the Federal government. We invite you to continue to conduct ALL of your credit union transactions at Sunnyside by using the drive-up tellers. In addition, we invite you to take advantage of our 24/7 free online banking, drive-thru ATM, and telephone teller services.     I LOVE the lending at SCENIC FALLS! all the loan officers are great! always so fast! My family and I do all our banking here!
