Wonderful Food w/out the Attitude! Some of the best steaks in the area! by Steak Lover - 09/24/2009I have eaten here several times and enjoyed it every time. It's comfortable and clean and fairly casual but you get a really nice steak! It's a great place to take the family and be able to relax and have a nice time while eating a great meal.... I've had steaks at Ruths Chris, Mortons, Jakes, McCormicks and Schmicks and Saylers Steaks compare w/any of them - even could be a little bit better... Enjoy your meal, we always do!

A Must Eat in Portland!! by The Gleason Family - 10/27/2007The reason why we chose this place was because of the rave reviews and now we see why!! A can't miss eatery since 1946! If you like good food and a lot of it, this is the place for you. Home of the often tried and seldom finished, 72oz steak. This one is HUGE!! They do have it on display so you can see just how massive it is. This place is not only big on food but history as well. Sayler's has found another regular in us!

The Name Stands for Quality by Marilyn - 10/19/2007My mom was right; this is one of Portland's great restaurants and has been for more than half a century! Somehow the quality never suffers. This is the place to go first if you want a steak--you don't have to go downtown!

Old Country kitchen by 40112 - 09/06/2007The Fish and Chips are the best here. Also the Prime Rib is very tender and tasty. This has been a favorite spot to dine, in our family for years. Plenty of off street parking.
