You might start by reading articles about baking placed on the website twice each month. The site also features a free recipe of the month that alternates between bread items and pastry items. Archiving lets visitors go back and check out the ones they may have missed.
The primary products are multi-session baking workshops and one time baking or cooking classes.
Currently, Pro-At-Home personal events are discounted cooking or baking sessions hosted in a local home for four to seven students. The host or hostess invites the students and earns the discount.
Special events such as birthdays can also be scheduled for baked and/or cooked menus in your home.
The full workshops have several common subject areas, such as ingredients, equipment, baking chemistry, mixing methods, cooling, storage and oven techniques. Each is interactive with a balanced mix of hands-on work and theory. Baking and tasting are continuous events in every session.
One of the unique items lauded and appreciated by many students is the book on CD offered at the start of a baking workshop. These mini-books were written by baker Paul Creighton. Students are thrilled to have the book for research and review, plus the recipes/formulas included on the disc are a huge hit.
