My husband and I have both seen him several times. He monitors my beginning cataracts so no need to see the ophalmologist again yet. Our eyeglass prescriptions are always good and he tells us honestly when the changes don't warrent new glasses. We trust him and his staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very bad. He put drops in my eyes three times; they did hurt afterwords. When he did this he prevented me from getting away and forced my eye opened. When I told him to stop, he refused to do so. Then he showed me x-rays of a person's eyes that had bad vision. Very, very unprofessional. Should have his license taken away. The staff did nothing to help me.

I have been to numerous Eye Dr.'s here in Las Cruces over the years, the staff at Dr. Sandoval's was very friendly, answered all the questions I had quickly and efficently and explained my insurance to me in a way I actually understood. I was a walk-in and even though I had about an hour wait they kept me updating me on my wait time and I was able to do some shopping and grab a quick lunch during the wait. I do not plan on returning to visit Dr. Sandoval, not because of him but because of his office staff. I had an eye exam appointment and when I got to the office the two staff at the front were talking about their personal lives before even acknowledging me. I let that slip by. Dr. Sandoval was gracious and professional. When I went to the counter to "pay" for my exam and contact lenses I was surprised by a total bill of $300.00.
