Founded in 1885, Saint Thomas Academy has a more than 70-acre campus located in Mendota Heights, Minn. It provides educational programs students in grades seven through 12. The academy is a Catholic school with a spiritual and religious foundation. It is a college preparatory boy s school that provides military training. Saint Thomas Academy is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States. The school s curriculum also includes classes in mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. The school offers compulsory military leadership programs to its students, and offers various religious programs. Its campus ministry program works with various nonprofit organizations throughout the metro area, across the United States. The school offers various sport programs, such as golf, softball, football, volleyball, basketball, baseball and wrestling.
