I'm a regular! by aad313 - 09/27/2009I don't mind the talking in vietnamese. I kind of like it actually-it makes me feel less pressure to chat and be social. When I go to a salon I want to relax and not feel obligated to make conversation. I doubt they're talking about me and who cares if they are? That said, I got one of the best (and least expensive,) pedicures I've ever had at Saigon Beauty. I also go there to get my brows waxed and always receive compliments afterward. I used to pay $20 to get my brows waxed with an independent (who also did a great job.) Saigon Beauty does just as well and charges only $6. I also like that they're open on Sundays.
Not the haircut I wanted by Cleopatra's Eyes - 07/16/2009It's not a bad haircut, just not the one I requested. I wanted a razorcut bob, but wound up with a short shag a la Katie Holmes/Halle Berry. The stylists do a good job, but I really could go without all the prolonged conversations in Vietnamese, especially if there is snide laughter involved. It makes me feel as if they are laughing at me--which they probably are.
Saigon Rocks! by Dharma - 05/26/2008Saigon will get you in and out. Everyone is very friendly and I am always happy with the work they do. It is nice to stop in and not have to worry about the quality of services I will receive.
