stevebell customer by stephen bell - 12/11/2009I brought my honda rebel cmx250 in to safari scooters on boulder hwy on dec 11,2009. I needed a tune-up and I was told that they could do it. Well they were GREAT!!!! the bike has never run so well. The gentleman that did the work knows a hell of alot about bikes and he even let me watch while he did the tune-up(other dealers will not let you within a mile of the work being done). I cant tell how happy I am at the way I was treated by Trish,she also knows what she is talking about when it comes to motorcycles. BUYER BEWARE OF SAFARI SCOOTER by Cheated By Safari Scooter - 06/25/2009BUYER BEWARE OF SAFARI SCOOTER: I purchased a Verona 150cc by TNG from Patricia “Trish” Glatter when she co-owned “Have Scooter Will Travel”. The cost was $3,433.55. The company closed. I have only had trouble with the motorcycle. Ms. Glatter resurfaces as “Sahari Scooter.” I took it in and was charged $500. Their mechanics have been unable to resolve the overheating issue and it developed a brake while sitting in their shop. Ms. Glatter's mechanics worked on the brakes for weeks and they still don't work and they damaged/broke the faceplate. Ms. Glatter took our money and threw us out the store. We called the police. The police said there was nothing they could do. Advised to contact BBB and file a civil complaint. Ms. Glatter sold me the bike and she should stand behind the products she sells. Since both brakes don't work, the bikes sits waiting for repair -- can't even check if the original overheating problem is fixed.BUYER BEWARE OF SAFARI SCOOTERS & CYCLES.
