Roxana Junior High School is a learning center that employs a staff of more than 40 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals. Its staff includes classroom teachers, teaching assistants, custodians, librarians, art and music professionals, and health and physical education instructors. Located in Roxana, Ill., the school provides coaching and training in wrestling and volleyball. Roxana Junior High School offers educational programs to over 500 students in grades six through eight. It is a part of Roxana Community Unit School District 1, which has a total enrollment of nearly 2,000 students in various schools. Roxana Junior High School also provides transportation, counseling and health care services.
