I am on my second Subaru and have been going the Roos for several years. I have tried other places including the dealership but keep coming back to Rocky.
Roos Only fixed my Outback right the first time!
by John B , 03/20/2012
After taking my Outback to two other independant repair shops, Roos fixed it right. I needed my clutch replaced and the other guys messed it up worse than when I brought it in. It was leaking oil, you could see where they used screw dirvers to pry apart the casings, and then it would shudder when I let the clutch pedal out. Roos had the right fix for a reasonable rate in a short time. Thank you Roos Only!

I will only take my cars to Roos! They always do quality work and show me any repairs I ask to see.

Very quick turn around. I had my boyfriend look over the vehicle once I brought it home, they even steamed cleaned the engine for me. We live on a dirt road so I know it needed it! Very friendly and they assured me of the repirs I needed by taking me to the car on the lift and showing me how and why I needed my axle repired. I will always take my Subes to Roos!

Darn it, I thought I had found a shop I could trust. Nope. Three unanswered issues with the third being a $75.00 part left off, only discovered when I decided to change my oil today. They had done some major work (bill was $3,000) requiring the engine be dropped. They were the last to work on it and failed to replace the part. Darn it. Looking for someone else next time.

Went in to get a rattle looked at and figured I'd have them do a complete check. They came back with about $3000 worth of estimated work. I told them I'd have a second opinion on it and had them repair the rattle. Got my car back with more problems then when I brought it. Took it to a trusted friend and found all sorts of shady problems that weren't there before I visited Roo's including a fan relay that had been plugged into the wrong location and a missing O2 sensor. Won't go back.
Before you let them work on your car get a second opinion.

First of all I never once got to speak to the mechanic that worked on my car. Therefore the work to be done was not explained in detail, how much they charge per hour and if they have a markup on parts. I never viewed the problem they claimed to find nor the location of the parts to be replaced. After the work was done i did not see the old parts they had replaced. The prices they charged after I researched them online were way higher then market. I have no idea where they get their parts and how much they paid and what they charged me.Before you let them work on your car get a second opinion. If you do let them work on your car make sure they explain the work to be done up front and what they charge per hour. Make sure they explain and show you what parts they will replace up front. Have them agree to mark the old parts they will replace. After they are done with the repair have them give you your old marked parts. Have them agree give you a receipt to show you how much they paid fo
