I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH RON JONES POWER FOR OVER 20 YEARS, THEY KNOW THE INS AND OUTS OF THE EQUIPMENT THEY SELL. EVERYTIME I GO THERE THEY ARE BUSY HELPING CUSTOMERS. I FIND A LITTLE PAITENCE GOES ALONG WAY. I HAVE SEEN CUSTOMERS THAT ARE RUDE AND WANT THINGS THAT ARE IMPOSSIBLE. AND WHEN RON JONES CAN NOT HELP THEY LOSE THEIR MINDS. TRULY ASTOUNDED ME.

Dropped off my lawn mower that I bought from them 4 yrs ago for service they told me it would take 2 weeks so 2 weeks later didn't hear from them I go in to check up they had to order a bearing should be in couple days 1 more week passed and I called the tech was rude didn't want to tell me eta of part and said it would take 30 min out of his day to find a track numb like it's a bother I go in talk to the owner turns out they never ordered the part and I should be understanding about it after a month they didn't want to cut the price for my inconvenience and they quoted me $150 out the door get the bill it was $190 I got out of there for $159 but I will "NEVER" "EVER" go there again ill buy a new mower before I go there..save yourself some time and trouble "DO NOT" "DO NOT" go there
They do seem incredibly rude, condescending and full of themselves to the point they are scary

... almost as if they're on the same drugs that cause abusive attitudes, or they're out on prison release program (owner included), or it's a front for some rehab halfway house.
customer service are 1 star but estimate are 5 star.

I was reluctant to go here after reading some of these reviews but as they seem to be the "local" Honda guys I took the chance and I'm very glad I did. I walked in with a minor problem with a recoil starter and they just stopped what they were doing asked if I could wait a bit and repaired it immediately. This was handy as I live over 30 minutes away. Since no parts were needed they did not even charge me - obviously someone knows how to win business. I interacted with 3 guys working there and all 3 of them get 9-10/10 ratings for courtesy and friendliness. I'l' be back there again soon with a more significant problem and am curious to see if my "luck" holds. Just spoke with them on the phone and again nothing but cordial and helpful.

Ron Jone sucks as far as how they treat customers, the owner acts as if he hates being there. I try and buy from local shops instead of using the internet so it helps the local economy, but I got to tell you never again would I spend one dime in that store.
I won't shop here ever again!

Like many of other Ron Jones reviewers and close small business lawn service providers that I know also felt like they were uninterested in our sales. I purchased a trimmer and blower there a while back to start up a lawn service business and their employee made me feel like I was bugging him when I had a couple simple questions to make sure I was getting the right tools. They only care about people that are ok with gettting ripped off or have big time accounts with them. Since then I have purchase two commercial mowers, another blower and mulitple stihl trimmers,hedgers and attacments ELSEWHERE!!!(about $5000-$6000 worth of equipment) My fellow lawn service providers and I will drive miles out of our way to AVOID Ron Jones!

I JUST PURCHASED A CHAIN SAW FROM RON JONES,, THE TECHNICIAN PRE RAN AND ADJUSTED MY SAW,, THEN CAME OUT AND SHOWED ME HOW TO START AND RUN IT,,HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND FRIENDLY,, I WILL PASS ON MY GREAT EXPERIENCE TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND PURCHASE FROM RON JONES AGAIN... VERY PROFESSIONAL FOLKS,,

HAVE BEEN GOING TO RON JONES POWER FOR OVER 30 YEARS, ALWAYS EXCELLENT SERVICE. MY FAMILY HAS THREE GENERATIONS GOING THERE FOR SERVICE AND SALES. ALWAYS INFORMATIVE AND FREINDLY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE SEEKING PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGE ON EQUIPMENT.

They gave me an estimate on some simple repair work for two professional use saws. When I came back in to pick up the saws they charged me $50 more than what they originally estimated and did not even put original Stihl replacement parts on the saws even though thats what I specifically requested. These guys are scammers, When I confronted them about it they simply asked "if you want your saws back you're gonna pay the bill no matter what it is!" I should have known when I watched them scam another guy on repairing his lawnmower when he could have bought a new one for the same price!
