We were looking for someone to fix our grandfather clock. Roland came out with another many who did all of the work, while Roland stood around and talked. I can handle strange people, but he made me feel very uncomfortable. He wanted cash payment up front (I know - danger sign) and took the movement with him to fix it. He returned a week later to reinstall the movement and proceeded to be rude to my very polite husband. Three days later the clock stopped. We called Roland and he accused my husband of being responsible. We wanted him to come back and fix it, but he told us that if he discovered that we had done something to the clock, he would charge us again. He was rude and threatened us with legal action. This guy is bad news. My advice - stay away. I have since had our clock repaired by another clock repair person, who deemed Roland's work to be suspect. Roland installed an unnecessary bushing and didn't fix the actual cause of the problem.
