Expensive Lemons. by Grant - 12/06/2009Wife found a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer online and they were listed as the seller. After contacting them, and confirming the vehicle was the LS model with power driver seat and remote entry, she sent them all the information they needed to verify she qualified. They called back that day and everyday for the next 5 days until we could make the 200 mile round trip.When we arrived, we quickly ran into problems. There were no power seats, as listed online and verbally confirmed, nor remote entry. About a dozen different lights were burned out on the dash, stereo and thermostat. The fuel gauge and battery gauge didn't work, and there was a busted wire on the rear defrost.No need to panic as that is all minor stuff. So, we took the vehicle for a test drive. With 116,000 miles on it, it drove okay, with only slightly spongy brakes and what sounded like a really faint knock.
