Riverdale Elementary School has more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade six. It employs nurses, reading coaches, instructional specialists, guidance counselors, speech and language therapists, custodians, paraprofessionals and special education teachers. The school conducts special classes in vocal and instrumental music, art and physical education. It also offers after-school math tutoring and reading programs on weekdays. Riverdale Elementary School works in collaboration with the National Center for Health Statistics, Subway, the University of Maryland Employees and the Riverdale Park Police Department. It also offers an array of stationery items and is located in Riverdale, Md. Riverdale Elementary School is a part of Prince George's County Public Schools.
