Female cashier and her female supervisor refused to allow me to pump gas using a gift card because she got mad at me and said she refused for me to put gas there

Harassed for ID when you try to pay with a credit card. Female cashier is writing down number, which is illegal. Federal law does not allow this. Never heard such a thing, cashier may be slowly collecting customer date for ulterior motives is my opinion.
