Closet Build by New Home Owner-Lakewood - 12/03/2009I was referred to Rick after calling several remodeling companies in Denver. He was able to build a closet for me the same week I contacted him, which helped me because I was moving the next week. His work was good and done on time. I will use Rick in the future for all remodeling needs I have and will refer him to my friends. A+
Wouldn't call anyone else by SLM - 11/29/2009A neighbor gave me Rick’s name after I bought my first house in Denver in 2002, an 1890 Victorian that had seen better days. Rick was an absolute God-send. Rick did almost every bit of work on the house from the time I bought it until I sold it in 2009. What work he did not do himself he referred people for me. Rick did small handyman jobs for me, including bathroom repairs and appliance installations, and also larger jobs, such as replacing the outdoor stairs to the upstairs apartment. Knowing my budget was limited Rick would spend time with me to go over options for saving money on any project. He was always professional, timely and went above and beyond what was required, including following up to make sure everything was just as I needed. Rick would always be my first call for help.
Beware- Rick Wade of Rick's Remodeling Service will rip you off. by Jnew - 11/17/2009Rick Wade did our bathrooms, stairs, doors and some drywall work and the results were atrocious. He did not have an experienced crew but one man who had not had very much experience. The tile in our bathrooms is crooked and uneven. The grout will have to be redone as it did not turn out right and is missing, cracked and bubbled in many spots. The stairs were never even finished. When we brought these things to his attention he walked off the job taking with him over $2000 in fixtures rendering both our bathrooms useless, 3 days before family was to stay with us for our wedding. He then sent us an e-mail making monetary demands to return our fixtures knowing very well the position he put us in. We had to call the police and our attorney to get our property back. His employees also broke items in our house that were never repaired and stole tools from us. Ricks crew caused so many mistakes that he decided to leave us high and dry instead of doing the costly repairs. Do not hire Rick Wade

Bathrooms and Shed by ASmallJob - 09/08/2009Several years ago I wanted to improve the bathrooms and add a shed but very affordably. Rick helped me with deciding what to get for products and the bast cost basis for the project making it very affordable for me. Rick tiled the floors and shower beautifully! The new countertops and sinks added the final touch and when it was done it all looked brand new. The shed was just a home depot type in a box but he assembled it to perfection for me and after the paint and window boxes I added,... you get the picture.Thanks again Rick for a job well done!
The Only Guy I'll Use by Pleased as Punch - 09/02/2009Rick has done three houses for me. I wouldn't use anyone else. He is honest, timely, knows other great people in the same industry, and makes sure that his client is happy with the final product. I've been in my last house for a year and he still comes back to fix little things.I have used him for every kind of residential remodel possible, from decks to super high-end custom bathrooms. I'm pretty sure I have the coolest master bath in Denver, and he is really responsible for making my dream-space come to life.
