Mr. Baskin has obtained many large verdicts and settlements for his severely injured clients, including a recent settlement of $4.85 million in a wrongful death case, a settlement of $1.7 million in a brain damage case, and a settlement of $ 1.4 million in a premises liability case. He has obtained large verdicts including a $3.75 million dollar verdict. He has written and lectured extensively on the subject of civil trial practice and is a contributing author of two-volume reference manual.

Mr. Baskin, a past President of Alameda/Contra Costa Trial Lawyers Association, served for 10 years on the board of governors of Consumer Attorneys of California, 3 years as a Director of Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA) and 2 years as Chair of the ACBA Trial Practice Section. He is on the faculty of Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College.
