Overall:Noise:Maintenance:Safety:Neighborhood:Grounds:Office Staff:

Don 't let these views and the sales pitch (luxury living) fool you.

Poor noise insulation (I am writing this review at 1:15 am after being woken up twice over the last hour by my upstairs neighbor) and lack of care from the staff who doesn't follow up on noise complaints makes it hell. The nuisance has been witnessed by one of their officer but nothing gets done.

Gardens are somewhat maintained (more so towards the front of the complex than the back. A fair amount of litter seems to take a few days to be picked up. Although, it should not be left there in the first place but this is the type of community I guess.

Maintenance crew does a great job in case of problem within the apartment. This is the ONLY positive thing about this place. Thank you to these guys!

Security of the complex is a concern. Gates at the entrance are constantly broken by tailgaters and end up not working too well.

All in all, I cannot wait to finish my lease and leave this place where getting a good ---ht sleep is a luxury and not the norm.

The gym looks good but some of the equipment is not working properly and has not been fixed for months. Idem for the laundry room where you have to find out which dryer works and which doesn't or your dollar dry will turn into a three dollar one.

It only took two months to get Comcast (imposed and charged by the complex) installed.

The pool in the summer weekends is not a place to take your kids as young adults are getting drunk at a fast pace with funnel drinking. Not the example you want to set.

The people in the sales office are all smile and friendly but nothing gets done unless you're on a har---ment path and even then???

Shame as it could be a great place to live.

Do not lease here - Worst Management Co ever!!!

I have lived at 6 apt properties in 3 states over the past 12 years. Relocated to Memphis/Cordova 2 yrs ago and chose to lease at The Reserve at Dexter Lake. Big mistake. Looks are very deceiving. Total ripoff with lots of monthly fees (trash fee - $7.95; pest control fee - $4.95, mandatory Comcast fee - $40.00; administrative fee - $2.95) so add these to your base rent each month and it adds up to a lot of extra $$$. Management will lease an apt to anyone with a dollar so expect shady neighbors and lots of crime. Go to website spotcrime.com and see for yourself. Put in property address 1505 Dexter Lake Dr. Cordova, TN and you will find the following has happened since Jan 1, 2011: theft of vehicle; vandalism; aggrevated assaults. Mid- America Apts is the Management Co. and they do not care about you once you move in. No security whatsoever and they do no address problems or concerns when things are brought to their attention. I am moving out in 2 months and would not recommend this apt complex to my worst enemy.
