Call 3 times before someone answered the phone!missed pick-up the bag in my garbage can, garbage bag did not come out with the new system that they have,once a week pick up ,garage stinks in this heat,3 hours later after the miss collection call the garbage is still by curbside?WTF don't know how they operate but its a poor system and no one man's Republic phones!!!Retired NYC sanitationman living in a rip off town!!!!!

The City Of Henderson has allowed Republic Services to change their contract and not pick up trash in alley ways.I placed my trash in the driveway as ordered at 7am and it's 12noon no pick up yet.I'm tired of the BS !

This a letter I sent to Republic Services as the complaint section of the website doesnt work. How can we have to do business with a company? Their service is horrible, there employees are rude and it takes 1/2 hour to reach anyone to let them know there is a problem. YOU KNOW WHY? THEY HAVE A MONOPOLY AND IF YOU DONT LIKE IT YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY!!!I NEVER THOUGHT A GARBAGE SERVICE WOULD GET ME SO WORKED UP.When there contract comes up something needs to be done to at least put some competition in place and watch how fast they get rid of these @** Holes they have working for them while they are in a monopoly.Anyhow heres my letter.I have an ongoing issue with my Friday Garbage Man.It started with me catching him throwing a garbage can over his head into the side of my truck. I was walking out my front door and it happened right in front of me. I made a complaint and since that time every week he dumps my garbage can and slams it down upside down leaving a pile of whatever was stuck in the bottom of the can on my street when I pick the can up. On the weeks he doesnt do that he stuffs the one can inside the other handles down so it is tough to get it out. Now today I had 4 empty buckets in one of my garbage cans and when he went to dump it in the truck one fell out on the street, he threw it inside my garbage can and I walked out and asked him why he didnt take the other bucket and the driver drove away and rather than speaking to me 100 feet down the road they just kept going. I drove down the street and asked them why when a customer is asking a question would you just drive away? and the driver looked at me and got back into his truck again without saying a word. The guy hanging on the back of the truck said he wasnt sure if it was garbage or not? with 4 buckets inside the garbage can what else would it be? I am tired of arguing with this guy and I have been told to video tape this type of thing and honestly I dont feel as that is my job, to monitor your employee.All I want is my garbage dumped and the cans set right side up anywhere in the vicinity that I left them. I dont think I am being unreasable and with his attitude there will come a day where this gets out of hand.If I am going to have to deal with this guy then cancel my Friday pick ups and I will short pay your bill by 1/2 every month.I dont want to be the cause of someone loosing their job, but I am done with his vindictive practices due to the fact that I got upset when he threw a garbage can into my truck.Your supervisor is a great guy and does what he can to make things right with the customer but the Mexican male that comes on Friday is out of control.Please let me know what can be done to either get a different crew or pro rate me for one pick up a week.Thank You,

Today when they came to pick up my trash, I had a mattress out and I wanted to ask couple of questions. Ray was very friendly and answered my questions. Also he made me laugh and I needed that at the time. Republic Santation is very lucky to have him as an employee.

Their book-keeping leaves a tremendous amount to be desired. I have sold my house in Las Vegas, but I still get bills for refuse collection at the property. After visiting their office on E Sahara, I am told that the details they have on file have been changed, but the main database will not be updated for at least 3 months (sometimes longer). After receiving the latest account reminder I complained on their website and was promised a response fgrom senior management within 1-2 business days. That was 5 days ago, but still no reply. I suppose my complaing went straight in the bin. I wonder if they collect their own refuse?
