On May 28, 2013, the Office of New Mexico Attorney General found A Reliable Engine Rebuilder, LLC liable for restitution and civil penalties. The judgement comes after the Office of New Mexico Attorney General filed a complaint against A Reliable Engine Rebuilder, LLC for failure to:- provide a written estimate for engine rebuild repairs over $100- disclose hourly labor rate- reveal parts used in repair- provide a written warranty- State the repairs that were made A Reliable Engine Rebuilder, LLC is ordered to pay restitution to several area residents in varying amounts. In addition, once restitution is paid to consumers, A Reliable Engine Rebuilder, LLC is ordered to pay the Office of New Mexico Attorney General $42,000 civil restitution for the state.In the above case alone, Bobby has screwed 14 people, along with others that have taken him to court on their own and ordeed to pay restitution.....AND NONE OF US HAVE RECEIVED PAYMENT NOR HAVE WORKING VEHICLES. HE CONTIUNUES TO RUN HIS BUSINESS, DO NOT DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN OR HIS COMPANY HE IS A RIPE-OFF. He has his family in private schools, living the life with our hard earned money. While we struggle, walk, and can't get a dime of what he owes so many families. He is a disgrace, what kind of man can live with the guilt. No shame and he countiues to be a FRAUD. I advise you to research the Better Business Bureau and contact Attorney General Office and read reviews before you conduct your business here. YOU CAN BE THE NEXT VICTIM

These people will screw you over anyway possible, took an 05 dodge cummins to rebuild the engine(was running when we dropped it off). 2 months down the road they said it was ready and was running great, go pick it up doesnt even start! They never had it running cause they installed injectors backwards, they took out the high performance injectors I had installed a couple months prior and replaced them with cheaper ones, never thought a shop would screw people over so bad and so many people.

Don't trust them. They say they will rebuilt your engine, but by really don't I got rip off 2k , I wouldn't even give him a stars , but I have to to post something so I have to give him a star for Ripping many people off, stay away

These jokers had my truck to rebuild the engine & it took them over 2 years. when I got the truck back they didnt put in any transmission fluid. I called them about the truck several times over this time period & they just kept promising me next week, next week. They kept making excuses and putting me off. I would not recommend having any work done with this shop.

Do not trust this shop. I had a engine rebuilt and the work done left the engine in worst shape then when I took it in. They refused to back up their work. Been dealing with this for 7 months. Do not pay them until you are sure the work was done and ask for a parts list to make sure they did put in new parts.

Absolutely THE WORST company I've ever had to deal with! Incompetent and they don't mind lying to you over and over and over. None of the work done was done correctly the 1st time, and typically took several tries. Some of it NEVER done! They keep you car sitting idle for weeks and months at a time. If you have to deal with them, keep detailed records. It will come in handy when you have to sue them, which is what we did.

My biggest complaint is that they have no customer service skills, the engine leaks oil from the crank, the lifter is ticking and they take FOREVER to do the work. Other than that I guess the engine still runs. I had to take it back for them to replace the crank seal, which still leaks and now they tell me to take it somewhere to get it replaced by someone else cuz it must be a faulty aftermarket crank. LOL. I guess the easiest way for them to fix the problem is to blame it on the engine.

The engine work took a little bit longer than expected but the product was amazing. Thank you guys for a job well done. Very affordable and very professional.

Took a 72 classic to them for a complete custom engine rebuild. Almost 4 months later we got it back. Were told they don't adjust carbs & had to take it elsewhere & pay even more. Bought custom engine parts & found that a part we could see was stock and not what we paid for.How many more parts are not what we paid for? Took it back. Well over a month later got it back again. This time burning oil, leaking oil, no power(for a 450+ engine) and coolant appeared on top of the block. Back again where it has been for over a month and no word from them. Almost $5000 spent so far and the car barely runs...with a completely rebuilt/new engine and all new performance parts.....IF we ever get it back and running it will be a miracle! Unfortunately, can't afford to take it elsewhere & start over. Hoping that legal action won't be necessary to get what we paid for!

The gentleman i dealt with very professional but when it comes to timely service would not recommend. told 7-10 days to get vehicle back been over 30 days and still no vehicle
