I had received an estimate from a competing company to "fix" my furnace which, according to them, could not be repaired. They offered the replacement for $10,000. The person from Reed Wright made an immediate diagnosis that was consistent with what the other company said, but said that the furnace could be fixed. He pointed out that the cracked heat exchanges would still be under their twenty-year warranty. He obtained new ones (using the sticker on the furnace as a basis for qualifying for the warranty, they cost me nothing -- otherwise they would have been $1200), installed them, and replaced the broken igniter. Their representative was professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Total bill: $700 and the furnace works great.
