I have been to this place several times for various reasons. Each time they charge me top dollar and do very careless work.



On my last visit, I was charged $850 to address a squeaky rear brake. I knew the wheel cylinder was leaking and figured it needed to be replaced so fluid wouldn't leak all over the drum. They "serviced" it and called me to pick up the car.



I picked up the car from them and pulled out of their lot only to find I had no brakes at all -- zero. A semi was coming and all I could do was gun the gas and make a sharp turn into a side street, where I stopped the car by putting in reverse!!!



Turns out they "forgot" to put the bleed screw back on the brake line. PS: the wheel cylinder still leaks and the brakes still squeak. When I asked what the $850 was for, they said master cylinder, which is ridiculous because that wasn't leaking and even the layman could see it was not related to the noisy squeak on rear wheel at all!



NOT RECOMMENDED.

Fast and reliable.

This was my first encounter with this business. I recently dropped car off for what I thought was a heater core problem. Windshield fogging up in the morning. Talked with Hugh (manager) and he assured me that they would check the heater core and if it needed to be replaced, cost would be about $400. The mechanics took the time to check the entire cooling system and after numerous tests including a pressure test, found the thermostat was the problem....NOT the heater core. The cost was less expensive and we have not had a problem since. It sure is nice to know that an honest company still exists. They could have just replaced the heater core...and I would have still had the fogging problem. For going the extra mile on this one repair, I now have an auto repair company that I will return to for years to come. Thanks Hugh and the rest of the crew!!
