I was referred to this place by Vocational Rehab of Utah for 3 tires and windshield replacement. They insisted I needed to leave the vehicle. What for? All they needed to know was the year of the truck for glass and tire size. I reluctantly left it there, went to my job on my bike. When I returned, the truck would barely run, had no power, it now had a gas leak that it didnt previously have, and the front wheel bearings were loosened, and bearing service was included in their estimate for 1200. My front fenders were covered in grease. They basically vandalized my vehicle trying to inflate the bill figuring oh well, the state would pay for it. The truck ran fine when I left it. My counselor at VR accused me of being dishonest about how much work the truck really needed. Caused me a great deal of stress, upset, and I had to personally fix or pay for the extra damages they had caused. I refused to let them touch the vehicle again, somebody else did the 3 tires and the windshield. I had to give it a complete tune up and replace the plug wire they broke, re do the wheel bearings even though they had just been recently done and put gas in with a funnel and a long tube because the new gas leak it never had before was in the fill tube. What these oeople did to my truck was criminal and vandalism.Surprisingly, VR wanted to side with them rather than with me. I had no reason to be dishonest, I know what the truck needed to pass inspection and emission, 3 tires and a windshield, nothing else. The worst auto repair experience Ive had since Ive been old enough to drive. Stay far away from this place. No stars, five thumbs down. I am sure they have billed the state for many repairs and problems they created on peoples vehicles.This place needs Gephardt and Sim Gill.Its been a while back and I didnt have the time to pursue it, but I havent forgot. Stay away I tell you.So it wont post unless I give you creeps at least 1 star. I reluctantly give 1 star under duress.

They told us the engine was dead. We let them keep our old Saab 9-5 and salvage parts and scrap it when they were done because we couldn't afford to fix it. That was over two years ago. We just received a letter today from a towing company saying they towed our car from Red Rock Auto repair, 2 weeks ago, and now owed them the cost of towing and storage. The car has been stripped for parts and I'm sure red rock has made money from the parts they used from our car. we were never reimbursed for any of it. And now that they're done making money from it they had it towed at our expense. Thanks for nothing.

The best experience I have ever had when dealing with auto repairs, John is honest from the moment you walk in the door. I stopped by when they were closing one evening because my car was making a noise, John took the time to put in on the lift and take care of it for me right then, he also checked the air in my tires for good measure. I would highly recomend Red Rock to anyone who needs automotive repairs or maintenance.

Red Rock Auto is the best shop for honesty that you will ever find. I have taken my vehicles there for years, good news bads news, honest news is always what I have recieved. They have expanded with another location and John the owner has had his hands full. Now that things have settled down, its back to business as usual. If you want a honest, reliable mechanic, call Red Rock.

Once you've found a good mechanic it's hard to find another. These guys do what you ask, give you solid advice. And charge you what they say they will charge, sometimes less. I've taken in my cars for whatever. The downside is they are busy, but they are honest when they tell me how long it will take to get my car in. If you can't say that about your mechanic.....
