I have been going to this salon for a few months. Every time I walked out (except the first time), I had an issue. They were all small issues that seemed to get bigger with time. My main complaint is they are very rough. The last few times I have walked out bleeding. One time they cut my skin with the nail file (cardboard cut) and several other times it was a result of them being careless while trimming my cuticles. Anyways, I have a great deal of patience and kept trying. In preparation for my brother's wedding, I scheduled an appointment for myself, my two son's, my daughter and my son's girlfriend. Over the course of two days I spent close to $250 for manicures, full sets and pedicures. My son left the salon with painful feet (cuticles bleeding on both feet, 4 toes). Patchy nail polish and nail polish on the skin, lumps and uneven gel polish and my daughter's full set was horrible. Her nails weren't symmetrical. Some were tilted to the left, right and came off her fingers like ramps.

The most upsetting part of all this was how poorly they treated my kids. They are all young adults and are not comfortable enough to speak up for themselves. Tom was VERY RUDE to my daughter and when she tried to get him to fix her nails, he said her finger shape was the problem.

I went back the next day and calmly expressed to Tom, who seems to be the manager/owner, how disappointed I was in the service we received considering I had just spent nearly $250 at his establishment in two days. I began to go through the list of the issues when he told me to leave and not complain around his customers. I am not one to make a scene so I left. There was no offer to correct the issues, even though my children told me they would not go back there, EVER.

They do use the plastic pedi liners which are very nice, however their barbicide (which is used to clean some of their tools) was cloudy and filthy. They do have a sterilizing machine which is great for the first client who comes in to their establishment in the morning. As far as I have witnessed, their tools are only cleaned at the end of the day. Some tools used on me, were also used on other people.

I would not recommend this salon to anyone. There is another salon across the street which is filled with very nice people who are interested in making sure their clients are happy and they have a spotless salon.
