Do NOT go to this bike shop!!! I recently received HORRIBLE service there. My bike had a flat tire. The shop claimed to have fixed the flat tire but they failed to replace the rim strip which was causing the flat tire. Consequently, by the time I rode the bike home, I had another flat tire. I called the shop on two separate occasions to express my concern about their service. Both managers where incredibly rude and smug regarding the problem. They claimed that I caused the flat tire (which another bike shop confirmed I had not done. In fact, the other bike shop referred to the services I had received at Re-cycle Bike Shop as questionable at best) I asked to have the owner, Mike, give me a call. He did not call me for two weeks. I then called the shop again and requested to speak to the owner. When he got on the phone, I asked if he had received my messages. He said that he had received my two messages to call me, but that he "was really busy." What??? He then said that he could not find the receipts to confirm the services that his shop had provided because a secretary took care of his paperwork. What??? Then after describing in detail my concerns regarding both the horrible bike service AND rude employees, he told me that he could not talk to me since I did not speak of his employes with respect and hung up on me. Hmmmm. Great service, Mike! In short, do NOT go to this bike shop. The services are questionable and the employees lack any training in customer service.
