I visited this restaurant 15 years ago and I thought that the food was very good. Moved to another town and recently relocated back in Scottsdale. Last night my wife and I gave it another try but this time realized that what seen good 15 years ago, today is just average fare at inflated menu prices. (note that the only other good review was written about 10 years ago) Menu items and culinary effort is stuck in time to last century... As soon we were seated I realized that the temperature inside the restaurant must be way above 80 degrees. A small portable A/C in a corner was failing to provide any relief... Coming the food, the macadamia crusted fish was just fish-fry with no indication of macadamia nuts in flavor or the texture of the crust. The green beans were so stringy that were not edible, and the lamb chops were charred so much that they were borderline bitter. I have to admit that we used a GROUPON for $59 to include an appetizer, two entries and two glasses of wine. Had we paid full price would had been approximate $110 plus tip. I give it 3 stars for the paintings on the walls and based on the $59 plus tip Groupon deal. For my money and my taste it maybe another 15 years before I go back and if the restaurant is still there.
