During that time he excelled as an equipment operator, 28 year cement mason and 15 year heavy equipment operator. Ramsey?s Concrete became one of the elite concrete contractors in the Southern Illinois area. Performing all its own excavation work the company handled all aspects related to their trade. From site clearing and grading to footing/foundation excavation to finish grading. The company, both concrete and excavation related created a reputation that remains today. During those years Steve developed experience in bidding projects, planning, staff management, payroll and daily operation of a construction company. Ramsey?s Concrete employed 30 full time employees with sales ranging from $3.3 ? $4.0 million per year. Nick Ramsey Nick has over 10 years experience in the construction field starting as shop foreman for Ramsey?s Concrete, advancing to laborer, carpenter and equipment operator. For the past 2 years Nick has been employed by Mathis and Sons Excavation, DuQuoin, IL.
