I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN
by AWASH , 02/12/2015
I was seen for a service in July of 2014. I was required to pay or the service upfront and then my insurance also paid the facility directly in August. Once I received the paperwork from my insurance company showing that they paid I went through the protocol to request a refund from Radiology Associates of Tallahassee in August. Each time I called the billing department number (844) 821-8137 I was told that it was in the process and that someone would give me call back which never happened. At one point one of the representatives I spoke to told me that they would not reimburse me and that my insurance would. Another time I was told that they were keeping what I paid and that the insurance would get their money back. Each time I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told that they do not have the capability to transfer me to one When I finally was able to speak to a supervisor I was told that I was overcharged for the service and that they had to reprocess the whole claim. My claim finally went through on December 12th and I was told from that date I would receive my money in 4-6 weeks. Since then I have called once a week to check on the process and know one could tell me. Each time they told me that they would open up an investigation and that I would receive a call back. As of February 12th I still have not received my refund and no one seems to be able to help. I am filling a complaint with the Agency for Health Care Administration. This is fraudulent activity. I do not understand how even when I call the corporate office they are not able to help and they knowingly overcharged my for my service. I am not going there again and I really hope that no one else does.
THEY SUCK AT SCHEDULING - HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL
by waiting in pain , 03/26/2012
My shoulder is in terrible pain; my Primary Care Physican's office sent in a request for a CAT scan to Radiology Assoc. (RA) and informed me to wait for a call scheduling the appointment. Eight days later (not counting Saturday & Sunday), I called my doctor's office and insurance company. All paperwork was completed the third day; it was RA who was supposed to have called me. When I called to make the appointment myself, I couldn't talk to a person. I left a voicemail in the early morning to have a person finally respond the afternoon of the next day. Now I get to wait 1.5 weeks as it's their earliest opening. DO NOT GO HERE if you need results quickly because you are NOT a priority to them.
The only place I will go!

If I have a choice, this is the place I choose. Especially for mamograms.
