Went in to buy a coaxial or barrel power jack was told they had none sone after found one and was called an a$$hole and told he did not need the attitude In front of the 10 and 13 year old I had with me. So I apoligized for anything he might have took as attitude and told him I ment no disrespect. Was then asked to leave the store so I did. Called later to apoligize again just incase I missed something in my actions That the kids or my friend did not catch either. It did not go well also. So I will never go back their. It was the christmass gift card from hell that I will never get to spend, Thanks alot Radio Shack.

Do not waste your time. I stopped in here to pick up some components to make a e-caller. I got assistance with finding the two first parts and then when it came to the third component i would told that it would not work. I know that this design is a tried and proven set-up. But was told repeatedly by the man behind the counter that it would not work. I have seen this design several times and it is the same components. He acted like he was almighty and all knowing. He doesn't know what he is talking about and he should not give his customers a bad attitude like that. I wound up telling him I would go ahead and purchase all my components off the website. To this his only response was repeatedly telling me that "When it does not work; Do not bring it back here". I left his store telling him what bad taste it is to go to a business and have the owner giving the customers such bad attitude. I would strongly recommend purchasing your radio shack items at the store located in Manhattan! Don't waste your time or money here!!
