Radio cab left me after repeated calls

by Jamie Rooney , 05/26/2013

Waited over 2 hours for the taxi. Called back twice. They never came. Will never call them again.

Kidnapped by Driver

by Linda H , 01/31/2012

My son who is disabled was out with friends and became intoxicated. A Cab was called for him and he told the driver to bring him to my house which was less than two miles away. Instead the driver took him to East Precinct where the police beat him up. According to state law the cab driver took him someplace against his will and therefore my son was kidnapped

Please call me directly at 503 205 3317. I will need a few more details in order to investigate this completly. The City of Portland Licensing bureau should be the agency that regulates taxis in the Portland area. Any report of police brutality should be reported to Portland Police Internal Affairs departmet. Looking to talking with you regarding this incident. Tom

Tried all the other companies first. This is the company I should have tried first. Prompt, clean and polite, the best in town,by far.

Horrible! but FREE CAB RIDE

by a guy , 04/25/2010

We get picked up on the street after a night out. I ask the guy if they have a Dexknows special, and he tells me even if they did I cant use the special because it wasn't done through the dispatcher. I just asked if they had the Dexknows 10% off if this ad is mentioned... I was just curious, the guy got floored at me so obviously I bickered back at him and he threw me out of his cab. Only nice thing was that he had gotten me within a block of our place and it was free. Jerk of a cab driver but it was a free cab ride. Looks like I won that one... But I'll never use that cab service again.

I need to apologise for the misunderstanding. I am not sure if the driver recognised the "Dex Special" and the "Radio Flyer Discount". The Radio Flyer is for transportation from downhtown to the airport (see coupon on our web cite

Radio Cab is GREAT

by Portland Observer , 03/05/2010

I have ridden with Radio Cab for years with fantastic service. I was very surprised to see the negative comment regarding a 5 hour delay, I was thinking that this could not be my Radio Cab. Upon closer examination of the date of service, the problem became clear. 12/22/09 Portland was in the grips of the worst snow storm in decades. Kathy try them again and you will see why they have the best reputation of all of the cab companies in Portland.

Very Unprofessional

by Womanscorned , 10/02/2009

The cab was going to take over an hour to get to the destination so we called to cancel the cab and couldnt get ahold of anyone. The cab driver calls and sarcastically says thanks for calling to cancel hangs up THEN CALLS BACK and tells me that it always takes that long and continues to berate me! It was unnecessary and extremely rude. What an awful way to portray your company. From now on I'm going to call a different cab!

A wonderful company

by PDX good guy , 04/23/2009

I have used this company for years, and they are always on time, speak english, and have great drivers

Worst Company Ever

by Kathy97008 , 12/22/2008

We called for a taxi and were told it would be 30 mins to 2 hrs. We were able to handle this, but when they weren't there in 3 hrs we called. We were told we were 1st in line, and just waiting for us to matched up with a cab. We called back at 5 hours and were again told we were first in line. But when we called back at 7 hours we had somehow slipped to 2nd in line. I know that the weather was bad, but what made it really bad was the change of place in line.

Response from Business - 02/01/2012
Sorry, but the worst snow in decades seems to have shut down the entire city including us.
