I was in an auto accident that caused me to require both upper and lower dentures. My insurance company was giving me the major runaround, one day agreeing to pay and the next refusing."Public" told me to come on in and get the work started anyway and we'd worry about the insurance situation later... and they meant it. Not ONE time during the process was money ever discussed, and they worked tirelessly on my behalf to get the insurance pushed through. I'm happy to say that whatever it was they did, the insurance finally agreed to pay, and Chuck was off and running. It was decided that a regular top plate would suffice but that I really should have implants for my lower jaw. Again, insurance threw a fit, and again, Public (and my dentist) got the implants approved. Chuck is wonderful to work with, immediately getting me into a set of "temporary" dentures until my dentist could get the implant posts in and healed. Now that everything IS healed, Chuck is making my final set up up both uppers AND lowers, so that the colors match and the teeth line up perfectly. Other than the color match and teeth line up for the bottom implants, I'm perfectly happy with the temporary uppers; I've never had to use any type of adhesive, they look great and feel better than any pair I've had.I originally chose "Public" because they came highly recommended from friends, and I have never been sorry that I did. They are family run, and it's great to see the grand-kids there when I go... it just shows that they value patients as they value family. I'm not sure why the negative comments are here, but as for my experience with them, I have absolutely NO complaints! (Except that I'm moving out of state soon and will no longer be able to use them...)By the way, I NEVER write reviews, but after reading the negativity of the ones I saw here, I thought it was only fair to give them the GREAT review they deserve. Everyone in the office is wonderful, friendly, professional, and seem to actually enjoy what they do... that's not easy to find anymore. So, thanks Chuck and the gang... you'll always have my recommendation!

My lower plate broke into 2 pieces, for the second time - oh NO. The last time it broke, my prosthodontist warned me if it happened again we were looking at replacement, not another repair. (The repair was hundreds of dollars and the replacement would be thousands - of which I have none!)!!!A few years ago PDC replaced a tooth in my upper denture that is still holding strong and looking great. In fact, I can't tell which tooth was fixed. With that homerun in mind, we took in my 2-piece lower plate, had a very frank discussion of options and decided on 2 steel inserts to bridge the break. It was ready the next morning. But the biggest surprise was the absolutely incredible charges for such great work and service. I will be back early next year for full new dentures. I'd really like to see what they can do aestheatically.a

I'm disappointed. I got my last set made while In the service. I thought they weren't the best but after going to public denture my "service dentures" are wonderful. I've had to go for many adjustments. And the end results are very disappointing. For another 500. I could have gone to a "real" dentist office with better results!!
