P.T.I. Orthotic Lab is the only full service biomechanical foot orthotic lab in Boulder County. Through the careful application of a multitude of medically developed methods for controlling the foot and ankle, we've developed more than 30 models of specially designed foot orthotics. And because we fabricate the product in-house, we're able to provide you with a custom product faster and make most adjustments while you wait. In fact, P.T.I. serves as a central fabrication facility for medical clinics nationwide.

We live in a digital age where MRIs, CTs, and Ultrasounds have become standard tools in the medical field. P.T.I. Orthotic Lab is following suit by implementing 3-D optical scanning technology, CAD/CAM and CNC machining technologies, slow motion synchronized digital four camera gait anlaysis and real time in-shoe pressure mapping.

3-D optical scanning, CAD/CAM and CNC machining is the most accurate system availble. The maching process is accurate to 1/1000th of an inch!

Four camera gait analysis software allows us to digitally measure and compare angles of the lower extremity. This synchronized frame-by-frame capability ensures accurate dynamic range of motion measurements.

Real time in-shoe pressure mapping software measures peak pressures, progression of force, center of gravity and gait symmetry inside the shoe as you run or walk. Real time data is extremely valuable in comparing pre vs. post orthotic results and surgical outcomes.

Prescription Pediatric Orthotics
We know a childs foot is not just a miniature version of an adults foot. P.T.I. Orthotic Lab has advanced specialized training in pediatric feet orthotics. Kids bones grow quickly, and new bone is laid down rapidly. If the bones are not in the ideal position as the foot develops, the bony architecture for a stable foot may never be attained.
