Primetime Energy and Nick Cappelli (owner) was recommended to us by a friend to install central air in the beginning of 2011 (June). He was originally nice to work with. Installed the unit with no problems. About 4-6 weeks later the air was not working at all and was blowing warm air. Sent a service tech out and told me that there was a valve that was not tight and the coolant was leaking out resulting in the unit not working. We only used the unit for about 2-3 weeks after that before the weather cooled down. We turned the unit on in the summer of 2012 and it was not working properly. We turned the unit on in the beginning of the summer of 2013 and the unit was no longer working. We called Primetime Energy out to the house and were advised that the valve was not working properly and needed to be fixed. This was under warranty and we weren't charged for the part. He also suggested that there was a slow leak resulting in the inefficiency during the previous year. The unit worked well for about 2 weeks and now it does not work at all.



We tried calling Nick several times and texting with no response or answer. I finally called from a different phone number and he did answer. He was shocked to hear that the unit was failing again (even though we left him SEVERAL messages). He promised he would send someone out at 10am on Thursday. Thursday came and went with no service call or phone call to reschedule. Now he will not answer the phone when you call. There is no option to leave a voicemail.



No warranty papers were given to us upon initial install. I looked up the unit on the manufacturers website and found out that this unit was not even registered for a warranty.



I feel that the contractor misrepresented this product and his work. By not giving us the paperwork to this unit we are now stuck paying another contractor for service calls and parts b/c there is no warranty papers. This is a brand new unit (supposedly) that we paid $2600 for in 2011 and it has yet to work properly.



RUN...RUN FAR AWAY. Do not use.... If I could give Nick & Jessica Cappelli zero stars I would.
